So…. I don’t normally discuss my financial issues online, but my family is in a serious predicament and I’m honestly begging for help at this point.

For more then four decades my business and I have served thousands of patrons for not only car services but acquiring friendships throughout my community. Two years ago, I was forced to move my business to a new location due to conflict with a family member (the owner of the building). We were unable to come to an agreement regarding the lease. Upon finding a new location, the cost of the move and general expenses of the new building caused me to become caught up in a large amount of debt. On top of everything, I have recently been locked out of my business by the state tax department due to my inability to keep up with payments. Because of this, I no longer have a stable income. As you can imagine, this has placed an unbearable amount of stress on my family, my employees and myself. Croton is my home, and that being said my house is at risk to be lost as well. So much has gone wrong in so little time and has completely thrown me into a downward spiral. This is very difficult for me to ask of you all, but I sincerely have no other options.”
This quote was taken from a GoFundMe page that my family and I have created to try and help my dad get out of this devastating predicament. He feels like a failure as a parent and a business man because he can no longer provide for us. It kills me on the inside to see him go through this because he is a truly wonderful human being. He is 60 years old and has literally worked himself to a point where his health is at risk because of the overwhelming stress. All he does is give and give and give back to the community, but he always seems to get screwed over in the end by unfortunate situations. He doesn’t deserve to have been dealt such a bad hand in life.
So, long story short, we’re asking for $70,000 to pay off his debt to the tax department and have his business returned to him. There is no way we will be able to recover if we aren’t able to reach our goal. We are at risk of losing absolutely everything. We will lose our home and many of our things will be confiscated. Any donation will help. I repeat, ANY DONATION WILL HELP. Even if it’s just a $1 or $5, anything you can offer will be sincerely appreciated. If you’re not able to donate, please, please, PLEASE, spread this like wildfire. We only have 11 more days to reach our goal. We’ve already reached $680.
